Join Our Winter Pickleball Leagues!

The First State Pickleball Club and Dave Marshall Tennis and Pickleball are thrilled to announce upcoming leagues starting January 6th, 7th and 8th! Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills or enjoy some friendly competition, these leagues are perfect for players of all levels.

League Details:

3.0 League
- When: Mondays, 3-5 PM
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Format: Fun and competitive matches to improve your game!
- Register for 3.0 League
3.5+ League
- When: Tuesdays, 2-4 PM
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Format: High-level competition for intermediate/advanced players.
- Register for 3.5 League (Waitlist)

Sign-Up Information:

The first 16 players to register for each league will secure a spot on the roster.
8 substitute spots are available for each league, so don’t miss your chance to join the fun!

2025 Eastern Shore Pickleball Addicts Tournament Series Overview

The Eastern Shore Pickleball Addicts (ESPA) Tournament Series is a partnership between First State Pickleball Club, Ocean City, Ocean Pines, Queen Anne’s County, Wicomico County, and Worcester County to provide a unique form of competition to the Pickleball community.

This Tournament Series combines 6 standalone tournaments to provide an opportunity for the top teams to advance to a 7th event for their chance to be crowned the ESPA Champions!  Tournaments are standalone events. Tournament and facility rules will take priority over any series rules. Specific questions about a tournament or facility should be directed to the individual Tournament Director. Any questions regarding the ESPA Tournament Series should be directed to Travis Davey at TDavey@oceancitymd.gov. The concern will be addressed with the committee. Please allow 14 days for a response.  Registration for each event is first come, first serve. Once a tournament reaches capacity registration will close. If you do not register for a tournament you will earn zero points which may impact your chances to advance.  Events may be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. If an event is cancelled, each registered participant will earn 1 point towards the ESPA Tournament Series scoring.

ESPA SERIES

This is a great series where you can earn points to earn your way into our Championship Event in October at The Courts at Harmon Field in October. You can read more about how to qualify in the Rules and Scoring attachment.

The series consist of 6 tournaments that you can see in the ESPA Tournament Series Flyer attachment. These events are all over Delmarva and at many venues that you are already familiar with.

Tournaments are skill and aged based.

2.0 – 3.499 (aka 3.0)

3.5 – 3.99 (aka 3.5)

4.0 +

Age divisions are set at 18-49 / 50+ / 60+

Your team is set by your youngest players and highest skill rated player, based on the DUPR Rating System. If you do not have DUPR account your first event will be based on your self-rating, however you must have a DUPR account for any further events, as this is the skill rating system the ESPA will be using this year.
